Cassandra Frederickson is the founder and CEO of SimbiQ, where she draws on 16 years of health tech experience building and scaling hyper-growth businesses focused on driving innovation in healthcare. A long time entrepreneur, Cassandra has dedicated her career to partnering with leading health system, payor, third-party administrator, and employer customers to deliver cutting-edge solutions addressing everyday challenges inherent of the complex and disparate data involved with patient care.
As a patient advocate much of her life, Cassandra experienced first hand the challenges of a disconnected healthcare experience, where the lack of access to time-sensitive information made it difficult to inform care-related decisions – for the patient, the caregiver and the provider. Aware that her family’s situation was not unique, and with deep knowledge across healthcare segments, Cassandra founded SimbiQ in the fall of 2019 with the commitment to improve the way high quality, cost effective care is accessed and delivered.
"The social responsibility at the core of what we are doing here at SimbiQ is so important to me. To be in a position to help patients and their families feel empowered to make confident, informed care decisions, often during some of the most stressful times of their lives, is what drives me every day."
Prior to SimbiQ, Cassandra held a number of senior leadership and executive level roles across operational, commercial and product strategy functions, primarily with early-stage, high-growth organizations. These included MedeAnalytics (acquired by Thoma Bravo LLC), NaviNet (acquired by Lumeris, Highmark, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and Independence Blue Cross), and most recently GuideWell Connect as Chief Growth Officer.
